    Burton

    I honestly think they need to quit coaching him. Just let him play with instinct. To many people in his ear making him a headcase. He is unbelievable talented, he doesn't need to be in his head all game. It's make him a step slow.

    Cornerback Sam Richardson??

    Is he still on the team??? He wasn't the greatest cover corner, but neither are any of the guys we have playing now. I thought Sam was one of our better open field tacklers. We could use a guy who can tackle.

    Always a Cyclone: Don't forget about Jared Barnett

    JB had a 4-5 record in Big 12 games he started, a 44% winning percentage. He beat 3 teams in the top 25. That is unheard of at Iowa State. I believe we have only won 2 Big 12 games since he has left. I would say he was an overwhelming success at Iowa State.

    Mark Mangino

    We are similar in terms of yardage and points per game. However, we are converting 45% of our 3rd downs compared to 34% last year. We are also averaging 21.5 first downs a game this year compared to 18.9 last year.

    Both guys looked atrocious at linebacker in North Dakota St game. They need to approve A BUNCH to be even competitive in the Big 12.

    We just beat the 2nd worst team on our schedule. I am not sure if Iowa would beat anyone on our schedule except for Kansas.

    Jeremiah George ??

    I'm not sure you see many starting linebackers in the NFL the weight under 220 lbs. I'm not sure if his frame allows him to put on much more good weight. I don't think he gets drafted, but he may have a chance to make a team as undrafted free agent.

    Dana Holgerson for ISU OC

    I like the fact that this guy has coached for Bill Schneider the best college coach I have ever seen. This probably wouldn't be a popular option but how about testing the high school coaching ranks in Texas? Art Briles has been pretty good. Maybe he could bring us a Big 12 quarterback too!

    The Blitz

    If you watch todays game, Oklahoma was not blitzing much in the first half and we were having success. The 2nd half they brought the house on about every play and the **** hit the fan. Why can't we exploit a full out blitz?? I just don't get it??
