    If we restrict the timeframe to Fran's Iowa career, I actually think I agree this is about as good as the Big 10 has ever been. One great team, two fringe Top 25 teams, and a bunch of mids/bads.

    Basically you are asking (for example), do we really have a 66.3% change of winning @ KSU? No one can answer that. If we accept those percentages as correct, then it is correct that mathematically our odds of winning all four games are 23%, by the statistical definition of the term "odds".

    Assuming we can beat a bad Cincinnati team at home on Saturday, I think we're a lock at 17-11 (11-7) even if we don't win any games in the conference tourney. We'd really be 18-11, we were not going to lose at home to a reeling TCU team.

    It is weird to me that the same system that projects us as the #8 team in the country also simultaneously projects us as a #3 seed. Maybe the system is building in the "you are not a national brand so the committee's going to f*** you" factor.
