Brecht is a ridiculous talent. Go be great!

Is there a fan base with thinner skin in America than the Iowa Hawkeyes?

Now now. Remember when ISU fans sent racist social threats to KU players? I thought Iowa City was full of libs. This is all so confusing.

Brock Purdy is the most clutch player in the state of Iowa's history

Not enough. None to this point. Let’s go Hawks!!

Brock Purdy is the most clutch player in the state of Iowa's history

i actually said that Purdy is comparable to Tate without the championships and Seneca was the best ISU quarterback I have seen. “Most Clutch” usually includes titles, and since there are a few teams in the state, I feel it necessary to give you something to chew on. I’m sticking with the Iowa...

Brock Purdy is the most clutch player in the state of Iowa's history

Sorry, missed this one, my man. Game was cancelled and every official site and governing body validates that. IOWA and Nebraska wanted to play, the rest of our conference is full of pussies.

Brock Purdy is the most clutch player in the state of Iowa's history

I have no idea when ISU last beat IOWA, but I do know that the “Most Clutch Player In The State Ever” wasn’t at the helm.

Brock Purdy is the most clutch player in the state of Iowa's history

I get it. Trying to determine which time Brock lost to the Hoks is hard as well. Prob either of the last ones in Jack Trice, but it’s impossible to narrow it down beyond that.

Brock Purdy is the most clutch player in the state of Iowa's history

So you are basing it on one moment, not one game, year, or career? You guys are so “Together” it almost hurts.

Message boards? I only contribute to one other board and that is Hawkeye Report. I like the Off Topic here and the In-State Rivals though. Always good banter!

Brock Purdy is the most clutch player in the state of Iowa's history

I admit that I don’t watch all Cyclone games, but conference championships mean something. That’s our SB, Homeboy.

Brock Purdy is the most clutch player in the state of Iowa's history

I do not remember Steele Jantz being exceptional. Can’t say the same for Seneca.

Brock Purdy is the most clutch player in the state of Iowa's history

The best in ISU history never hoisted a B12 championship trophy, but Tate did. What are your measurable? I need to understand what makes him the best. Seneca is easily the best ISU QB I’ve ever seen as a person who has watched about 35 CyHawks.

Brock Purdy is the most clutch player in the state of Iowa's history

Reminds me a lot of Drew Tate if looking for comps to modern IOWA QBs. That is a huge compliment coming from an IOWA fan. Drew’s team really missed on expectations his senior year, but a lot of things went the wrong way at the wrong times. Brock is a great playmaker with his feet, better...

Brock Purdy is the most clutch player in the state of Iowa's history

Is it possible that Brock is the most overrated player in the history of the state? I’d put Blake Larson up there as well.

Brock Purdy is the most clutch player in the state of Iowa's history

This is what I have always wondered about Purdy. Dude can scramble, has great pocket-sense, can throw to the edge, but I have never seen a clean post, bomb, or 35+ yard flag. I’d love video proof. I’ll shut-up once I see it.

    Montgomery or Hall?

Montgomery is so silky, but can break a tackle. He is keeping the Bears alive.

Pac-12 to decide whether to expand within a couple weeks

Hypotheticals can be fun, but as the #5 earner in the B1G and the teams in the league being totally happy, there is no way this happens. You can “imagine” that OSU leaves the B1G, but there is no situation in the next decade that makes this a foreseeable reality.
