    If I remember right, K Wood was starting that year. Sammy had the 66 home runs of course and H Rod was pretty decent. And don't forget the managing prowess of Riggleman... Otherwise I agree it was all Rod Beck!

    A whole lotta hawkeyeness here in CR. I just recently moved back and I am readjusting to that life. It was funny when I went to Best Buy with my brother the other day and I had a gold Cyclone shirt on and he a Cardinal one on. Go Cyclones!

    This is really crazy, I saw him pitch in a game in 2007 and he looked awesome. Granted aganist the Nats but to see him just fall off like that is crazy. Could it be a Greinke situation, all in the head.

    Cubs acquire Aaron Heilman from M's

    I am trying to figure out what the cubs are trying to do this off season. Heilman? Really? The NL Central is there for the taking again. I don't understand why they can't just get Peavy and have a dominant rotation. Oh well, pitchers and catchers report soon!

    They did the silent clock after the last piece of dirt was thrown on her. That was well done also. I like how this season is stacking up before. Back to basics with some new twists and it is seemingly a lot more at stake with the government.

    Yeah definitely a money scam, sounded like a few people on that forum gave out credit card information. I knew as soon as I clicked on it was a mistake and tried to find the best way to remove it ASAP.

    Oh my gosh i just finally got rid of this virus after 5 days. If you do get it go to the CNET website and do a search for Antivirus2009 and there is a great forum that explains how to get rid of it. Definitely watch out though!

    Wrigley Field

    I like to idea of keeping the bleachers, scoreboard, Ivy, and keeping it in the same neighborhood. But redoing the stands and press boxes and maybe add some box seats would be nice and it probably could use it after the mess with concrete falling a couple of years ago.

    When do they play PTI on the ESPN radio. Also I love listening to Dan Patrick from 9-11. I also wish I could hear that first hour. He had Reggie Miller in studio and Barkley on the phone a couple of weeks ago and it was absolutely hilarious.

    I35 update

    I just got back from Des Moines, driving to Ames was fine. no problems. It might get a little worse but there is a break right now.
