    Weather for Memphis

Well, so far this year, Memphis has played in a tropical storm with 30mph winds. In a oppressively hot day where the stadium ran out of water by halftime. Several games in the rain and wind. We are making the joke that this game will be the final shot to the gut by Mother Nature this season. The...

    Liberty Bowl Sold Out

Where ever your seat is, it will be a good view of the field. I think the only bad seats in the stadium are in the press box and the private suites because they are so high up, it makes it hard to read the numbers on the uniforms, but if it's raining or dadgum cold, they are very comfortable...

Norvell calls the plays. Dickey was essentially the RB coach and a major recruiter. Also a favorite with the players.

OFFICIAL: Iowa State vs. Memphis in the Liberty Bowl

I read somewhere but could not find it online. All that stuff above is from the Liberty Bowl. The University of Memphis and the conference is throwing in some additional goodies. I assume ISU and your conference is doing the same.

    BLUM: Know the Memphis Tigers

Former walk on..broke all those records essentially in the last two years. Has incredible hands. I have seen him catch passes with one hand, falling out of bounds. Once, he caught a pass with one hand and held it against his helmet falling out of bounds. He will be fun to watch one more time...

Don't sleep on the RB too. We have 2 good ones. Henderson reminds us of Deangelo Williams. You may remember him.

Don't forget the Childrens Museum (very close to the football stadium). They just opened a space for a carousel that used to be at the Memphis Zoo when I was a child, then moved to the old Libertyland park that is now gone. It was put in storage and then finally shipped off to Ohio for a total...

Best Eats in Memphis (so far)

The Liberty Bowl may be 52 years old but it is a great place to watch a game. Not a bad seat in the house. The city did a magnificent job with Tiger Lane. It may be our "home" stadium, but with the way you guys travel, for one day it will be both of our's stadium. Just don't be to rough on us...

I like the way this game is shaping up...

I live in Memphis, season ticket holder. I am out of town on biz. Hate to miss the game, but you have to do what you have to do. My wife likes me to keep the power on and beer in the fridge.
