    I would appreciate suggestions on motels for the 2024 eclipse

    Much of west Texas is a dark sky area. Likely not a big factor for eclipse. I'd suggest Gage Hotel in Marathon. A dark sky community so lots of local interest in astronomy. Gage is a hotel designed by the Trost firm of El Paso.

    While I would agree that you can do what you want with a spreadsheet I think there are real advantages to using an app. There are really 3 out there that standout. Quicken, Mint and Personal Finance. They will all import from all of your accounts -- bank accounts, brokerage accounts...
