    You know in all of the data being floated about for tv market, it does not include the Omaha/Council Bluffs metro for Iowa State. The difference between Des Moines to Omaha and Des Moines to Iowa City is less than 21 miles.

    This. Exactly. Some people forget that ISU has no tradition to sell. So if you can't sell wins you need to sell the great people/players that were successful at ISU and beyond.

    Seems like Pollard gets a lot of praise for doing the core requirements of his job. I don't think you can argue that he hasn't done a fine job with getting the updates ISU needed, but isn't that what he is supposed to do? That part isn't objective either, it's either happening or it's not. So...
