Anyone else following this? (legalization of Fireworks in Iowa)

I'm hoping that even if there is one more injury/accident this year than years past (inevitable) now that they are legal, that lawmakers will reconsider moving forward. Giving more availability to young, immature kids who are often lighting these fireworks off while unsupervised just seems like...

    Allergy Doctor recommendations

Singulair is your best bet at this point and won't require seeking care from an additional provider. For what its worth, the patients we have been treating in our family practice clinic have had lots of issues with seasonal allergies so far this season. Even folks who have never had seasonal...

    Allergy Doctor recommendations

Consider going into your primary care provider and discussing possible RX for montelukast-sodium (Singulair). Singulair has a different mechanism of action than Allegra/Zyrtec/claritin. Also daily use of fluticasone (flonase) can help as well.

    Parker Stewart commits to Pitt

The infatuation among some posters with this last crop of 2017 recruits is absolutely amazing. Our program will be fine. CSP is a great coach who motivates players and has the ability to get them to buy in. Both Stewart and Brown have stated that they are seeking playing time, among other...

    RECRUITING: Rodgerick Brown to Wichita?

Definitely like this kid's physical size and seems to have quite a bit of potential. To me, if he were to be headed elsewhere, it wouldn't be too damning of a miss. Any program could always use a 6'7 skilled, young forward but we also have young guys on our roster that fill that role already...

Josh Knipfel (class of 2017) commits

If this staff could just catch a break this year and FINALLY have one season without attrition due to injury with the big guys, watch out. OL is our biggest concern heading into the season but certainly some growing optimism. Love what Manning is doing with these guys

Josh Knipfel (class of 2017) commits

I'd venture to guess he dresses this year given our lack of depth, experience, etc at the position and OL as a whole. Tough to say whether he plays, but given his size and assumed talent its not off the table.

What I know about the McNeil situation: part 2

Its been stated, but allowing him to go w/o consequences sets a terrible precedent. The recruiting landscape now has made coaches afraid to take a firm stance on issues like this in fear of public criticism, not to say some coaches do not. I think the general fishiness of the AAU landscape today...

    Recruit Lists v2.0

I would say that is one thing that is refreshing to have now. Hoiberg was a big name but it was no secret that he wasn't exactly a fan of recruiting.

    Recruit Lists v2.0

On which street are you hearing this news? Welch Ave? In all seriousness, this makes sense though. Simpson has said before that he doesn't want to commit to a school where he will have to compete against sophomores or other frosh for playing time at the point.

    Recruit Lists v2.0

You answered your own question within your question. If this is his FIRST official visit then the others would have to be unofficial if he has already taken any "visits". Each recruit is allowed 5 official and, unless I'm mistaken, as many unofficial visits as they can fit in. The difference...

    Recruit Lists v2.0

We're definitely in the mix, but a kid with a top 7 is definitely gonna take other visits. He cancelled the Purdue visit due to a death in the family.

http://www.scout.com/college/basketball/recruiting/story/1567515 Scout article detailing Tyson Carter's big month of July. Says his dad played at MSU and he's from Starkville. Also says CSP and company have been recruiting him since Murray state so he likes the coaches and still hears from...
