    I think it is both funny and awesome that the Brands brothers and the Hawkeyes in general, despite being defending national champions, ranked number one, and massively favored in this dual meet, are celebrating match victories like they just won the national championship.

    I think OSU actually picked up that fourth down, but they did it illegally and didn't get flagged. NCAA Rule: "The ball carrier shall not grasp a teammate; and no other teammate shall grasp, pull, or lift the ball carrier to assist in forward progress. (A.R. 9-3-2-I)" So there is justice there.

    I appreciate that the guy does his homework. But he brings all his notes to the broadcast and proceeds to plow through them, which prevents Kyven from talking about what's happening on the mat.

    Lamont didn't take a single damned shot the entire match and Small is the one with two stall calls. The NCAA needs evaluate the new stall calls to do something about guys that just lock horns and push their opponent back. That's not offense.

    Straw was the aggressor the entire match and the only takedown by the Fresno guy, who never took a real shot, was on a counter. That said, both of the stall calls on Straw were earned. Just sucks to see it happen that way.
