...If Ward, Jones and King come back, you have the start of a pretty good front court..."
Whoa, haven't heard this. Is the Ward transfer rumors picking up momentum?
That's juicy. I hope somebody has the details for the rest of us who streamed the telecast and didn't see the ending. I wouldda thought UT would go after Grill.
Good points. They are playing well now with Murray back full strength and Sandfort hitting shots. They get production minutes outta guys like Dix ?$??
B1G looking kinda weak with Mich, OSt, Indy falling off from early season strength. It seems the Selection Committee favors the B1G
+ Our O needs to be better than their D. Need to score in the 20s.
+ We've all seen the statistics; something like only 2-3 teams have scored > 24 pts on Iowa in last three seasons.
+ We need to hit on 40-yd + Field Goals. no misses on extra pts; no special team errors.
+ Obviously no...
Wow, serious ? Seniority definitely helps in today's game. Put Rebraca with PMcCaf + Murray, and that is a decent front court... Notice I said front-court, don't anybody freak out and go, "but it's a guard game".
They will have decent scoring....and as it looks today (April 2022), they will...
Impressive stat line; maybe Fran has a shot with a recruiting pitch, "look what I've done for Garza".
"...He averaged 18.9 points and 13.6 rebounds this season for Utah Valley, a Western Athletic Conference school in Orem, Utah. The Wolverines were 20-12, and defeated BYU and Washington.
+ Pounding Iowa by 20 after three years of double-dig losses to them and seeing Coach O's locker room reaction displaying his intensity for this rivalry; this is a 'Superbowl' for him!
+ Undef in non-conf. I didn't buy the streaming ESPN+ this year, but from the games I watched, it was clear...
Best Twitter excuse from a Hawkeye fans was the reason they shot a miserable 26% from trey was because of the new Wilson Basketballs - not used during the season :)
Also, I will not be surprised at all if CMac and Rebraca (sp?) return. That could give them decent front line optins: PMac...
Was that Avery Johnson calling the ND - Rut game last night ? Not the easiest to listen, but he had some really good pointers and comments regarding play strategies and offensives by both teams. Fun game to watch.
Bizarre to tout the Quad 1 wins and have the same team only score 36 at home on Sr night. What a goofy season. Kempom rankings can be interesting when St Mary's, SanFran and Murray St are in the top25.
It wouldn't surprise at all, in fact, if there are provisions for a return, they both will - I expect.
But I would be stunned if all our players, at least the starters, returned next year. Brockington deserves to get paid and will.
I know, but I thought Murray wasn't even on this level he's at now.
Do you think we get any surprise returns next year - I mean, is there any loophole, Covid-type provisions ConMcFran, or their center can return ? How can Connor return - is there a medical provision?
It seems McFran consistently has a player in the top 3 of B1G conference scoring. The list is convincing from Gatens, Cook, White, Marble, Garza, and Murray. MurryII probably next year.
