    Depends on the coach and skill set. Rhule was always a talent developer & program culture guy. Not exactly as important at the NFL level as in College.

    Not only that but a whole lot of extra games on the Big 12 side drag down the average since everyone's worst games lower an average and the Pac 12's simple averages benefit from "oopsie we didn't release viewer data for P12Network!"

    Yes attractive matchups trounced an awful one. It's also true that getting that game onto FOX blew away what WV/KU would be expected to do on FS1 or ESPN2 for instance.

    Exactly. It is a good example that network can elevate a game above what that matchup usually gets (KU-WVU never sniffs 1M on cable) but that you need a good matchup to get to what ABC would typically average.

    That's where possibly raiding the P12 for 2-4 teams may make sense. You get 6-10 late home games to sell that don't conflict with noon/afternoon windows and more interest outside your region for all parties involved.

    COVID year actually had a decent example to test that with. Due to the awkward COVID schedule and all eight of the other Big 12 schools being off that week the 2020 WVU-KU game got just under 1.5 million viewers on FOX. It isn't sniffing that on FS1.

    For that chart I think it was just no title games and no non-conference to keep it even.
