    Helmets on head. Pants on legs. Red torso between. Everyone knows white and yellow don't have enough CONTRAST to be the only 2 colors. Contrast for readability/recognizability is not the same thing as complementary and/or matching color schemes.

    Am I just missing something? This is Mike Taylor--basketball program--got in trouble in the off season and is now kicked off the team--never played a game for ISU (and never will again) once he had legal problems (or did he have 1 legal problem earlier and then the 2nd later?)?

    Umm--not everything is football. The MVC is still the hot conference to fall in love with, and Illinois State's not too shabby in basketball. I can totally see that happening. I still want a cyclone (tornado) graphic. Simple and striking, but I can lose the punching Cy.

    The argument here is that nobody else is "I State". With the eventual hope that we can use that for branding--it's unique. EVENTUALLY everyone nationally would know that WE are "I State"--where ISU could be any number of colleges. Of course, the continued problem is what would our abbreviation...

    Am I supposed to be able to add a poll? Anyway--I don't want to wait for cyclones.com--let's see what CF thinks about the new helmet designs. Personally, I like the idea of Cyclones--as the only team with that brand. But I really can't stand the script. Seems too wimpy to me--plus anything...
