Tech fan here, and TBH, Im not really sure what you guys are doing on offense. I guess you could call it a spread (since youre not in a traditional setup on offense), but it seems like you want to run a spread option thing, and when you get behind, then you try to run a spread pass type thing... -

Thats because Tech had Tuberville recruiting for 3 yrs in Texas. Tubs may not be a great coach right now, but one thing that cant be denied is he knows how to recruit. We will see how KK can recruit in a few years. Its easier to recruit at Tech, TCU, BU than ISU. If Rhoads is somewhere... -

What Im trying to say is there was time when the 'Clones couldve quit (like being down by 14), but they kept fighting, and a missed onside attempt is what sucured the game for Tech. I really enjoy watching a Rhoads coached team. They show the same passion he does. -

How many years does CPR have left if there is no improvement?
From what I could see...it would be a HUGE mistake for ISU to fire CPR. However, CPR could do himself a favor by hiring an OC. I suggested a guy like Sonny Cumbie, but was summarily was dismissed. ISU is going to have to hire someone who is a great offensive mind, and can recruit. -

You would be correct on what I was referring to. We can all go back and say "If this happened, or that...", but, the bottom line (at least imo), what kept ISU in the game was Tech's horrible special teams. Missed FG, KO return for TD, ISU punt recovery, a realky nice ISU INT by George... -

Tech's Offense is a lot less scary than they seem
I think the only real scary team offensively right now is BU. Tech has struggled, but if the QB's can find consistency, then they will be very good. Im also surprised by how bad OSU is offensively. Is it Walsh (who I realky liked coming out of HS, or is their OC just not very good?) OSU... -

How is it different? Kingsbury's philosophy is #ATMFO. Tubs never had that mentality. Its not his fault, but thats just how he was raised in football. -

I really don't think ISU wins this game, but our QB situation could make it at least a little bit interesting early on. Hopefully, KK can figure it out in a week. -

TT's Mayfield just got injured
It seems as if ISU's biggest problem against Tech will not who will be Tech's QB, but how much will ISU be able to move the ball against Tech. Tech will score...how much will ISU on the road? I would expect the line to be somewhere around Tech -20. -

Webb was an Elite 11 QB, and really just needs reps as the starter. Now, it seems, he will get them. Mayfield just makes better decisions, and thats why he was the starter, but Webb has everything else you would want in a QB. -

Like I said in anither thread. Davis Webb is a legit QB, and will get very important reps in oractice, and hes had gametime this season, too. He will be ready to go. Although if Brewer isnt ready to back Webb up next week, and if Webb goes down, then Tech will be in serious trouble...
