AP has Kansas back ahead of ISU lol

The only thing you need to know about this poll is that somebody that meant to vote Arizona voted Arizona State. That's how much time and effort this thing takes at this point.

So how good is the Big 12 in Basketball this year?

No disagreement from me but the committee has shown over and over that head to head doesn't matter as much as we'd like to think it does. These aren't basketball people. All they're going to look at is that Kansas is 12-5 vs Q 1/2 and Iowa State is 10-6 (as of today of course)

So how good is the Big 12 in Basketball this year?

Kansas isn't better than Iowa State but they have a better resume. Two different things and that's why Kansas gets a slight edge in seeding.

So how good is the Big 12 in Basketball this year?

Getting out of the league is going to be great for Texas Tech. That offense is pretty complex and preparing for it from scratch in two days is going to be a nightmare for somebody. They'd be the Big 12 sleeper for me. Houston, Iowa State, Kansas, Baylor are all capable of playing 4+ games.

I believe there's Michigan-Ohio State game on CBS on the last day of the regular season. That'll put the absolute perfect bow on the Big Ten season.

    Missouri Dual (2/25)

Mizzou is forfeiting 125 and Elam (285) is the only regular that made the trip from what I've heard. Big time bummer for both duals

Time for a Real Discussion About Caitlin Clark

If you pay attention to the officiating in the women's game I wouldn't want her playing defense that intently anyway. No game on earth is out to get team's best players like the women's college game.

    We Will Collective contributor numbers

Dan Wetzel is saying that it means there are no recruiting rules at all anymore. You can use NIL as a recruitment tool (as if it wasn't already) and the NCAA can't enforce any recruiting related punishments from the past including the reduction of scholarships. Still iffy on whether in-season...

Time for a Real Discussion About Caitlin Clark

Bold strategy to get the best shooter in the country and the best player on your team the most shots. More coaches should think of that.

Unlimited NIL money and a building that will have 20,000 people in it once it's turned. Plus the ACC is dog **** so it won't take long to do it. Drew is never, every leaving Baylor but I could see Mac and Oats being interested in that job.

Mark Pope seems obvious and he'd do well but I'm guessing they'd insist on a name. Brad Stevens maybe?

They could raise that in about 20 minutes if they really wanted to move on. I think he's at Texas next year. They never wanted to hire Rodney Terry anyway and his deal is cheap and easy to get out of.

Where Iowa State might turn to find an offensive coordinator replacement

He was given the title to get him more money to keep him for an extra year. It wasn't his offense, he didn't call plays. Probably helped with some run game schemes but he was an OC in name only. He's not ready and I don't know if his personality is even really suited to be a coordinator. He's...

Where Iowa State might turn to find an offensive coordinator replacement

Terry Allen is very happily retired and just moved back to Cedar Falls from Missouri. Zero chance that he's interested in getting back in.

Tough day for EIU hoops hopes

League play, no matter what league you're in, is really, really hard. It's part of what makes college basketball great.
