I would also add that it is possible to avoid long lines by avoiding the East entrance(where the Phog Allen Statue is); this is where the majority of the people line up to enter. I would park in Lot 90 (corner of Naismith Dr & Schweigler Dr). It is $20 per car and is across the street from Allen Fieldhouse. You can search for side streets around the fieldhouse but you will have to walk quite a bit. Good Luck!- c1nation

Update on Away Game Tickets
Order through the KU ticket office on August 1 and ask for sections 24-26; those are their visiting team sections-tickets are $55(I think?) this year. If you have a large group (more than 25 people), they have a group rate that makes the per ticket cost way cheaper. Good luck.
