Photos from the Pinstripe Bowl by RUNYYFan

LOL! The tailgate actually started over in the Scarlet Lot at Rutgers Stadium with a choice of pork roll, egg and cheese or bacon, egg and cheese, or egg whites sandwiches, doughnuts, bacon, and either hot coffee and chocolate with Kahlua or cointreau. It took about 20 minutes for the food to be...

Photos from the Pinstripe Bowl by RUNYYFan

Actually, the crew I was with came in 3 luxury coaches. Several did. I was actually rather caught up with several of the ladies in our group. When I first saw the RV, I was quite surprised. In all the years going to Yankees games, that was a first. Glad to hear the pep rally was great.

To all you Clones that I met today @ game

Here, here! BTW, props to your band for making the 18 hour ride to NYC by bus. It was enjoyable to hear them play. As someone who enjoys hearing classical music, the Bheethoven 5th Symphony arrangement was beautiful.

to all rutgers fans on our site

Agreed with the other RU comments. You are a classy fan base. Though I did get a few pics of ISU fans in the Gerard St. bus lot dancing with Bud Light boxes on their heads. not that there is anything wrong with that. All interactions I had today on the ground were cordial and...

An interview that I did with NJ.com...

Nice article by Jerry with good quotes. Thank you. You ain't kiddin'. Just as an aside, that design has been the same for the website since the mid-90's. Why? Because of the ownership. For those interested, NJ.com is owned through Advance Publications by the Newhouse family. They also have...

Weather Outlook for Pinstripe Bowl, PERFECT @ this time!!!!

FWIW, Coach Schiano was informed that the field would be in much better condition than it was for the RU vs. USMA game. As a Yankee fan, it was embarrassing to say the least. This shot was taken from Section 115 looking at homeplate. The resident amateur met on our board has put up his...

    Rutgers Campus Newspaper

Yes. Our history is quite diverse, including being a theological seminary for the Dutch Reformed Protestants. For more history on The Targum, you can click here. Though I question lots of stuff on wikipedia, this article is maintained by the staff and has great historical information.

+1 on contacting the front desk/concierge. The hotel has a parking garage, but there is a fee associated with parking. The number I remember is $44; I just can't remember if that is per day or for the duration of the stay.

D'oh! I totally forgot about the RV Park. That would definitely be an option that would be a whole lot easier than trying to navigate the streets of NYC.

Heh! Yeah, 'specialyfromrealnewyerkerswhogottacatchacab. 7pm will be fine. In fact, you'll get a great opportunity to see the Freedom Tower with the construction lights on. I don't know if the lights will still be wrapped in various colors for Christmas, but it will be dramatic. If the game...

    Rutgers' receiver Sanu can hit

When Sanu was playing HS ball here in South Brunswick, he was actually the QB. Like blitz said, he is a "Renaissance Man" in terms of football. Off the field, he is one of the most genuine people I've met. Quiet, gentle, humble. But also very, very mature. Here's his freshman highlight reel...

Knowing NUTS, yeah, he was referring to the Today Show. To experience a little of the Irish culture, definitely hit one of the Blarney Stones. For the Italian, Little Italy along Mulberry St., between Canal and Broome. While I think they are a little touristy, the 2nd Ave. Deli is a great...

No way! That is located over on 3rd Ave and 97th St. Seriously, Broadway and W35th should be the best vantage point.
