Technically correct but Olejnik beat him fairly handedly in the All-Star event.
Olejnik however has taken some losses these past several weeks, all to All-Americans (Hall, Carr, O’Toole, Caliendo).
Ech going down 7-0 and coming back to win was impressive. Edmond beat Happel two days ago. Everyone else did what they should do.
Feldkamp was pushing the action but got caught, happens. First match in awhile for him. Hawks was an NCAA qualifier so he is solid.
Probably in the minority here but Mizzou has to actually have some real sickness.
I obviously can understand KOT, but the rest of those guys “ducking” makes zero sense, and KOT seems like the kind of guy who would wrestle Carr out of respect and for the sport.
I don’t consider 285 a toss up. Elam is stingy and will do absolutely nothing but Yonger is better than him.
I worry about giving up bonus at 125, even the big kind.
Some pretty intriguing duals today.
Mizzou/SDSU
Nebraska/Penn St
Okie St/OU
Some other good individual match ups will be Barnett/Ayala, Caliendo/Hamiti in the Iowa/Wisky dual.
Magayna vs Ross would have been a great 3A 175 final, but the kid from Carlisle might give him a match too.
By far the two wrestlers I have been most impressed with are Dreshaun Ross and Herrera.
It did look like Kane Naak was grimacing from his shoulder after his semifinal W.
I haven’t...
