    RECRUITING: Phoenix Gill set for visit Saturday, where Iowa State stands with him

    We got Mark Baugh, highly regarded out of Illinois and one of the "Bam" trio, in the same class as Gill. The trio were going well early, but things turned worse after the 2nd year together.

    They are playing better than earlier in the year. Their defense before was bad. Still not great but zone has helped. Missi the center has improved.

    Baylor used to have that killer zone until Wisconsin blew the top of it in the NCAA tourney years ago. They then went man exclusively and won the championship. This year Drew has done a good job mixing it up.

    Put on ESPN2 to watch the BYU K State game. They still had on the Utah Arizona State game. Utah fans I thought used to pack in the stadium back in the day. I guess they got the Pac malaise. BYU game on and the stadium is rocking.

    Didn't like Jones shooting it with time on the clock. That happens way too much for us at the end of the 1st half. But what a half it was! No letdown, come on boys.
