    Let’s try this. The totality of the debate is close. Nebraska is the name brand. Iowa is close. Iowa is a lands better football program right now. In total, iowa is a better catch for top 30 than Nebraska. Perhaps inelegant, but that’s what I was shooting for.

    I don’t understand where the reading comprehension issues come from. I’ve said the debate with Nebraska is close. Iowa is head and shoulders a better football program. Nebraska has a bigger name.

    I didn’t say that. At any point. Nebraska is a tough one. Iowa is a better football school right now. Nebraska has a better name and brand. Wisconsin is obviously a better brand and a better football school than iowa. I think I’ve said that more than once in this thread.

    Great post. If your intent is to get the best football programs in place, it’s hard to exclude the current version of the Iowa football team. If you’re trying to build the biggest "brand", there’s a bunch of teams that would jump them
