    Nice game...

The way we have played the last 2 games, we aren't winning either of those, either.

    Nice game...

Oh, and forget about my username...obviously the Cyclones kidnapped James Willis, and put Lyle Setencich in as DC! Boy, you Clone fans are sneaky!:realmad:

    Nice game...

Ummm, wow! We may not win a conference game this year. Yes, we suck. You're welcome Cyclone fans! Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go back to our meltdown on RRs.com. :realmad::twitcy::wideeyed::rolleyes::swoon::SLEEP::skeptical::sad::unsure::eek::mad::v_SPIN::cool::confused::yes:

Texas Tech's Spread Offense--How to stop it?

Yes...Tubs said in the Spring that we would probably rate about a 5, or 6 on a scale of 1-10 as far as speed goes. So, that's pretty mediocre speed, but some of our recruits/transfers will kick that up a notch.

Texas Tech's Spread Offense--How to stop it?

That's funny, because we never heard of him until January. Supposedly, there's some other players on offense who are committed to schools who are REALLY listening to Tubs right now. I would guess these are speed guys, since Tubs/Brown need to upgrade the speed of our team. We are a fairly...

Texas Tech's Spread Offense--How to stop it?

I know you didn't mean to imply it, but it seems like almost all Tech fans think that, and arguing with them gets tiresome. You know Besser, I couldn't care less if Tech continues to run a pass heavy offense, and some Tech fans will disagree with me, but as long as we run something conducive to...

Texas Tech's Spread Offense--How to stop it?

Leach has his own style of the spread, and it certainly worked. Holgerson has his own style. Lincoln Riley's is a little different, too. There are many effective types of spread offenses, and Mike Leach doesn't need to be the coach to run an effective form of it. But, many Tech fans in the...

Texas Tech's Spread Offense--How to stop it?

This isn't the same Air Raid offense that we (Tech) ran under Mike Leach. It's a version very similar, but still different, and the different parts of it, are the parts we are having problems with. Coach Brown (the OC) has admitted that he has gotten impatient with the run game, and has gotten...

Texas Tech a -4.5 favorite over ISU

Not real sure where you got your numbers from, but they aren't right. Tech is 83rd, and ISU is 106th. Still, nothing to brag about from either team. NCAA.com ? The Official Website of NCAA Championships - Football

    Hey Clones...

No, and I don't think that happens. I really don't think he's going to want to uproot his family again, and his son is playing football at Frenship HS. I could be wrong, but I think he's there for at least a few years. I think UGA would have to have at least a couple of people deny their...

    Hey Clones...

Unless the coaches have fixed all of the problems on offense (which I seriously doubt), I'm not sure we will score 24 pts. The only way we will score that many, is if we have some good ST's play, and/or good defensive play to set us up for the scores. I would be very surprised if we had 4...

    Prediction: Texas Tech @ ISU

0-0...Tech wins 3-2 on FG kicks at the end of OT.

    Hey Clones...

While I think Tech is more talented, you can't have bad decisions (QB play), not be able to block (OL), and you can't drop passes, especially on the road. I don't rely on talent to win games, because it loses enough for me to be concerned. Just look at the UCLA/Texas game. Texas should have...

Oh, forgot to add WR's dropping balls, too.

    Hey Clones...

Red Raider fan here just looking to get some good discussion going about the upcoming game this weekend. It should be interesting, because it seems like both teams have fairly solid defenses, and both offenses struggling mightily. Offensively, I'm hoping Tech was able to work on things during...

DeVondrick Nealy High Interest for Iowa State

Nealy...now there is a familiar name for us TTech fans. At one time, he had Tech as his number one, but, then we got a commit from Bradley Marquez (who some say would be a better slot WR, than a RB). I'm still not real sure what has happened with Tech, and Nealy. I'm thinking after the...

    W and L the 2010 Schedule

Tuberville changing the offense to a more traditional offense... Tuberville is not running the offense...Neal Brown will be. He's a young, hotshot OC, and will run a SIMILAR system to Leach, although not entirely the same, which will be good. Here's a video of what Coach Brown's offense...
