    Does anybody know who is on the selection committee? I can see it being made up of several ADs from the Big10. The conference sucks, but watch them put 8 teams in.

    Purdue - Spread 14.5

    Should be an interesting game. Iowa's two best wins are ISU and UNI. I haven't seen Purdue play this year, but apparently they have a couple of bigs that will make things very tough for most teams. I think on this one I'd bet Iowa with the 14.5, but doubt the final score is within 7 or 8.

    Clones are ranked 342 @ 54% FT made out of 351 D1 schools. Ouch. That needs to improve in a hurry if they plan to compete.

    Sounds like U of I owes Captain Kirk $525,000 on January 31 for "longevity". No performance required (obviously!) Wow, that would be painful writing that check. Barta has to go down as one of the dumbest ADs in history. That, or Kirk has pictures.... I just hope Iowa can keep both Barta...

    Hoks play Ohio State @ noon on Tuesday

    Odd time for game. Favors Iowa as there will be zero crowd support there for Ohio State. This one should be easier for Iowa than North Carolina since Ohio State is grossly overrated. And less we forget, Iowa has the best big man in college basketball, self proclaimed Aaron White.

    Could be a brutal season once we get into league play. I see Hoiball winning the BIG 12... that would be such a statement given the strength of the conference.

    We own Iowa... In Football, 3 of the last 4 years ISU won (just think if we had a football program what could happen). In Basketball 5 of the last 6 years ISU won (and they laughed at Hoiberg hire). ... and next year we get them both in Ames. :) No wonder Iowa fans want to drop ISU from...

    Wow, beyond pathetic. The best of the west embarrassed by Ohio State. The BIG did lousy job of splitting the conference. The west is so incredibly weak.
