    Notre Dame is THE school to blame in all of this

    If Notre Dame just would have gotten off their high horse and joined the big 10, I really think none of this would ever have happened. The Big 10 would have been content with 12 teams and the other conferences would have stayed as is.

    Number of four year players the last decade

    Someone can correct me if I am wrong but I think ISU has had only 3 players the last decade that have been at ISU for the full four years. I count Rahshon Clark, Jake Sullivan and Jared Homan. Am I missing anybody (that was not a walk-on)?

    I would assume since Pollard gives away contract extensions so freely (GMAC, and Chizik after going 5-19) that CPR got an extension following a tremendous first year as football coach? Anyone know?

    Another thing to consider

    We don't want to be looking for a new basketball coach the same time as the Hawkeyes are. Lickliter will likely be gone after next season. If we are going to make a move we absolutely need to do it now and not wait until after next year.
