    LEACH out at TT??

    ESPN did a segment on Leach and said he might be gone at TT. It is all about $$$$$$??? I am not sure I can fire a guy who got the football program to #1 this past year? He might make a great OC somewhere. If it happens it should be by the weekend.

    According to Rivals the 2008 recruiter of the year is an old geezer by the name of Norm Chow at UCLA. He is the OC, I think. He used to be the OC at USC. He was born May 3 1946. He is not the rule, but age is not always a big problem. He is the Pac-10 recruiter of the year.

    A hidden message? For a number of years an ISU B-BALL player from Iowa wore the number 40 to remember Chris Street, IF I remember right. Barnes wears that number right now. It would be great if he continues to wear the number 40 in his home town.

    Gopher Hole

    The Gophers lose to North Dakota State to day 27-21. The big gun for NDS was a running back that ran for 266 yards and a TD . NDS pilled up over 550 yards of offense. The Gophers are now 1-7 under a new coach, I think they are worse by far than we are.
