    Support Rally for the players?

    The players know they have our support. I'm not sure having a "Support Rally" would have any real effect. Their future at Iowa State is a personal decision for themselves.

    It's not about earning a name on a jersey. They earn that when they commit to play ball at ISU. For the fan's and media's sake, we need those names for easier player recognition.

    PLEASE put player names back on the jerseys. There is no reason not to. Also, I would be down for a helmet change, back to an old school yellow.

    Re: Top Coaching Candidates I've got to play the race card and say that Turner Gill being a black head coach would be a HUGE positive for ISU. He would create more of a buzz and ignite recruiting more than any other candidate on the board.

    Yeah, right when we thought we were done with football until at least the spring game, we get this gem. It does keep ISU in the news for a while, so Pollard can't be too upset about that.

    SoundOff should be fun tonight... Iowa State is going to receive the most attention they've had in a long time. Any chance Pollard makes an appearance? He seems to have a pretty close relationship with those guys.

    Is Turner Gill a no brainer?

    Turner Gill is absolutely a no-brainer. If we can get him, there is no doubt in my mind that he is the best available option. From a recruiting stand point I think he's the best ISU can get.

    We need Mark Farley

    Farley showed some questionable coaching on the last play of today's game, in my opinion. We need a coach with a name people can recognize; someone who has a shot at some recruiting pull. Someone who has connections in the Big 12 and experience building up a football program as a head coach...

    Re: Turner Gill He has experience taking a program that is in shambles and turning it around. ISU is seriously in shambles.

    We need a recruiting mastermind. Otherwise ISU will never have a shot in the Big 12.

    I've got to put my vote in for Turner Gill. He would be a dream catch for ISU at this point.
