    TCU and Florida A&M are going to sting all year. Even just psychologically for the players and the fanbase the difference between 10-5 vs. 8-7 is pretty stark. It happened and there is no silver lining in those 2 losses, but there are a lot of quality opportunities that remain.

    I tend to not judge an entire season by the results of 1 game, as frustrating the outcome of that game vs. OSU was. Plenty of talented teams have bowed out in the first round of the NCAA tourney.

    The biggest disappointment is how poorly the Jacobsen/Young lineup have defensive rebounded. The only way that lineup works over other options is if it cleans the glass. It is boring, but the easiest way this team could improve on defense is ending a defensive possession with a rebound.

    Seemed to manage and coach the talent just fine in the 2015-16 and 2016-2017 season despite injuries, midseason transfer additions, and suspensions. Also, there is plenty of reporting that 2018-2019 season had some chemistry issues that any coach would have found difficult.

    Offense is not the problem with his team. There are top 20 in 2P% and this team doesn't rely on the 3. Defensive rebounding and PnR defense are the primary issues I would be concerned about.

    "His own players" argument has be litigated to death on these forums and it is still a horrible one. Prohm has proven he can win with talent brought in from another staff and he has proven he can win with talent brought in by his own staff. What else do you want?

    There have been some smaller 4 guard lineups under Prohm, but defensive rebounding is my greatest criticism during the Prohm tenure. It was consistently poor at Murray State so it seems like a coaching problem.
