    Wrestlemania 28

That's funny coming from you, considering you'll start a betting thread for the most obscure games.

    NBA: Wizards vs. Wildcats

I get your angle, but any college team would get destroyed by anybody in the NBA. End of conversation.

    Capitol City League

-Games usually start in June, twice a week. I believe it was Wednesdays and Sundays last year. -Games at Valley Southwoods -Free to the public

    Hawks

I'm of that line of thinking too. Both programs going in the right direction. I really don't think ISU is going to stop bringing in transfers though.

    Athon Ranks Big 12 Coaches

We'll see what type of coach Briles is over the next few years. You can't win without talent, but he hasn't put together a winning season without RG3.

    Anyone see a comparison ....

He could probably tone it down, but so many people are so afraid to speak their values. I give him credit for that. He doesn't need to apologize to anyone for what he believes. Do you want the guy to sign over every paycheck to the church or various charities? The guy is allowed to make a...

    Anyone see a comparison ....

I haven't read the book nor am I going to, but is that what it's about? Everything I'm finding just says it's an a****iographical tale of Tebow's "inspirational" life story. If there's excerpts out there with Tebow glossing himself as God's preferred QB, obviously that would be in poor taste and...

    Anyone see a comparison ....

PS - I don't care one way or the other for Tebow. Nice guy and a great story. Not a good passer. Don't love him. Don't hate him.

I understand that. Spirituality itself isn't a competition, but in its most literal sense, a good chunk of the New Testament is about spreading the Gospel of the Lord.

    Anyone see a comparison ....

I'm not sure why I'm replying to this because it will get modded and this thread is going to be scrubbed because it's turned into a religious argument, but this could be one of the more off base posts I've seen on this site in a while. Where exactly does it say in the Bible to conceal your...

How do you drink your Templeton?

Ditch the 7up and mix it with ginger ale. Very refreshing and perfectly subtle. Ice is also acceptable. I'm drinking Cedar Ridge and ginger ale today. Great switch up from the unhealthy amounts of beer I usually drink during the first weekend of the tournament.

McDermott Named 1st Team All American

Uh...I don't even care about the Doug debate going on, but are you serious about Big 12 big men? Jeff Withey is one of the most improved players in the country and averaged over 3 blocks a game this year. Same can be said about Jordan Henriquez from K-State who averaged 2.3 blocks. I realize...

    Reggie miller

Legendary trash talker as well. You have to wonder how his career would have played out had he played in the Western Conference. Being a shooting guard in the Eastern Conference during the 90s meant two certainties: 1) You never going to be better than second best. 2) You weren't starting the...

Nebraska's Doc Sadler: "...the teams to me are so much better.â€￾

Oh I'm not internet tough guy, but I have little to no tolerance for dip **** hawk fans on this site that have little to no idea what they're talking about.

Nebraska's Doc Sadler: "...the teams to me are so much better.â€￾

You're completely missing the point. The genius hawk fans and B10 fans alike seem to think that Nebraska is struggling because now they're playing against "legit" competition, which we all know is a crock of ****. What I'm saying and what many others are saying is that the team Nebraska is...

    Cityview-Best of Des Moines

I didn't understand the format of the voting. I thought it was the Cityview writers that made the choices. My bad on that. Not shocking that the readers think so highly of Big Tomato. I just don't understand the obsession and infatuation people have with that sack of **** "restaurant"...

    Cityview-Best of Des Moines

There's a difference between being cute and gimmicky about lousy service (****'s Last Resort comes to mind) as opposed to being a-holes that put out a mediocre product at best, and believe they have a license to say and do whatever they please. I understand that as a customer there's some...

Nebraska's Doc Sadler: "...the teams to me are so much better.â€￾

My point is that they aren't as good because they've been unable to replace Jeter's production. Don't be dense.

Nebraska's Doc Sadler: "...the teams to me are so much better.â€￾

With Lance Jeter, who was the heart and soul of that team...like I already pointed out.
