    Juwan Staten

I wouldn't feel good at all about bringing in Staten. It would be a complete slap in the face to Sledge and may create an awkward and crowded situation in 2012-13 with Lucious, McGee, Sledge and another PG. I think we have to see what we have with Sledge next season and then evaluate from there.

2011 Cyclone Football Outstanding Player Award

...and Tiller continues to be disrespected I see.

Austin Box - OU linebacker passed away

    Wow, terrible news.

    Dalonte Hill Joining Maryland Staff

Wally Judge and Rodney McGruder are both guys from the DC area as well, aren't they. I know Judge didn't really pan out but McGruder should blossom next year as the team's featured scorer.

    New FB Commit

Didn't the '02 or '03 class have something like 4-5 4-star guys? Granted, I don't think most of them panned out, but rankings wise I seem to remember that being our "best" class.

MoMo Jones transferring from Arizona to somewhere

I wouldn't be on board with it. Kind of a slap in the face to Sledge at this point if we brought in a transfer PG, especially one with two years of eligibility left.

    New FB Commit

Good to have him on board. Exactly what we needed. A WR with size who goes after the ball and is physical. Something I think people are overlooking in that speed argument, is that with as physical as he appears to be, he'll be able to create separation off the line of scrimmage against smaller...

What does Chris Babb bring to the table?

Agreed, and their differences are going to make our team better and more versatile as a whole. (clonedude and I are having the equivalent of internet make up sex at this point).

What does Chris Babb bring to the table?

I feel I've qualified my original statement since then. Could I have added something about how much I believe in Ejim's potential? Sure, but I didn't and you chose to freak out about it and insinuate that I thought Ejim sucked, which is completely false. Regardless, my original statement, harsh...

    Niang commits to ISU!

Wonder if this takes us out of the running with Percy Gibson. Edit: Not to be a downer. Very happy that Niang committed, but would like to see Gibson commit as well.

    Niang commits to ISU!

This is great news. Welcome aboard and though we've been recruiting this kid for a while, I've never bothered to ask how he pronounces his first name. Anyone know?

What does Chris Babb bring to the table?

From what I'm told, we're lacking that one guy that can break off some ridiculous dance moves and fire up the team while they're waiting to come out of the tunnel.

What brand of beer did you drink in college?

Don't know if this has changed, but most keggers when I was in school (fall 03-spring 07) were Keystone Light. From what I'm told, Keystone wasn't as prevalent in the 90s, but is still the most common keg beer at campustown parties.

What brand of beer did you drink in college?

Freshman/sophomore year was mostly Keystone or whatever was cheap or at the kegger. Busch Light was considered a luxury and if we had Bud/Miller/Coors or craft beers, it had to be a suit and tie affair. After I turned 21, it was the basic staples of Welch Bars, Bud/Miller/Coors & Mich Golden.

    Bridesmaids

Saw it last night with the g/f. Definitely a good one and pretty funny. Bravo ladies, bravo. Totally agree about Kristin Wiig too.

Report: A&M will hire Billy Kennedy

They're probably not going to throw a welcome parade, but I think this is a solid hire for A&M. Plus, I don't want UNI fans to have any excuses when we smoke them for the next decade.

What does Chris Babb bring to the table?

This is probably right, but I still think what I said holds true. Yes I could have phrased it differently, but I think we're splitting some hairs here and delving into another topic altogether; why must we wear the proverbial "kiddie gloves" when talking about improvement as it relates to ISU...

What does Chris Babb bring to the table?

The dense comment was in regard to you guys asserting that I thought Ejim basically sucked. I don't think that. I can see how my original post came down hard on him, and I probably should have included a qualifier in there saying that I still thought he had a lot of potential. My initial...

What does Chris Babb bring to the table?

And just to show you two I'm being fair, here's some other things that guys on the team could work on this off season to improve our team success: -Railey: Play more in control and work to stay on the floor by avoiding foul trouble. -Booker: Based on his play from Southern Illinois, become...

What does Chris Babb bring to the table?

Could you two be anymore dense? Seriously, you both are way off the reservation. Ejim is very good basketball player and has the potential to be an all-conference type guy, but if he's going to realize that potential, his shooting and ball handling are two things that have to improve. There...
