He was not going to play ahead of who we had the last few years - and I doubt he wanted to stick around until Monte graduated. (Last year would have been his senior season if he had stuck around)
I’ll do my best to act surprised when the news breaks.
Good job btw - it’s a big deal for these youngsters, they should be allowed to break the news how they wish (minus too many gimmicks/hat tricks).
So when can we expect an article in the DSM paper picking this apart....because it would be on the front page if a low level ISU employee said/did something.
I wish there were other uses for miners such as genome research - but they are specialized to only work on certain algorithms. Bitcoin ASICS don’t work for Litecoin, etc. GPUs - could probably do that.
Lots of outdated miners not being used in the future if/when crypto falls apart.
I’ll second Schwab - i’ve Had great experiences with them. They have waived trading fees to buy Vanguard mutual funds on my account.
They have messed up paperwork twice since i’ve Used them (minor - I just had to re-send forms twice) and both times they put $100 Into my account to make up for it.
All true. Don’t put any more into crypto than you would gambling because that really is what it is. I just enjoy it for now - over clocking processors, playing with components, pools, fan settings....it is paid entertainment for me.
I’m getting 0.0
i get between 0.1 and 0.08 Ltc a day. Felt better when prices were north of $200...payback is a bit less at the current exchange rates.
If you are only getting $10 a day, pick a different pool.
I think people are disappointed to lose the family tradition.
My great grandpa, grandpa, and dad went to ISU. I want my kids to go to ISU. It’s something I’m proud of.
That is what I had hoped ISU meant to Fred and his family. Can’t fault the kids for going somewhere else.
It’s a cheaper option for moving money legally. There is a use for crypto currencies, but I am not sure the valuation matches the current uses yet. They aren’t currently suitable for Day-to-day transactions imo.
