There was nothing wrong with our offense in Mac's first two seasons (yes, I admit we could have used a better throwing quarterback) but we just didn't have any athletes on defense. We couldn't stop anyone. -

I think you can somewhat hang Ws and Ls on quarterbacks, kind of like starting pitchers, at least in modern football ... I don't think that goes for running backs. Nonetheless, I mentioned in my comments that I could have put Dexter as high as #2 -

I go back further than Kirk, but even I have to start relying on the numbers in the 70s and before. I'm glad they (Hardee and Hixon) both made each of our lists. -

I could not agree more! I also couldn't keep him out of my top 5 based on his numbers being so far ahead of the rest. I did not consider him above #3 and easily could have slotted him in the bottom half of the top ten. -
