    Banks,Laing, Hamlin (REAL Thread)

Not that anyone cares, but that is the same exact building and room that I lived in during Sophomore at ISU. It is possible that the "stuff" was left over from when I lived there.:jimlad:

    The Beatles - "ROCKBAND" Rocks

Anyone read Paul Shirley's blog? I can't say I disagree with his article. No disrespect intended, but The Beatles just don't hold up - ESPN

And I thought Fat Tire was good beer

I used to think that Fat Tire was just so-so and kind of a first for people new to craft beer. Recently I've tried some of the new Fat Tire's out of cans and they were awesome! They were just a lot more fresh and had some great hop flavor to them. I wish that the stuff out of draft and bottles...

What podcasts do you listen to?

Anyone listen to any audiobooks? I've listened to a few from podiobooks.com. There is a lot of decent sci-fi on that site but you don't get the quality on that site that you could from a pay site like audible.com or something else.

What podcasts do you listen to?

Mike and Mike are great! I also listen to BasicBrewing. I loved the 'This American Life' showtime television series but never listened to the actual radio show. I should do that.

And I thought Fat Tire was good beer

I second the Oskar Blues hype. Their Dale's Pale Ale would be absolute bliss for a tailgate!

    In Arnaud We Trust.

I'm confident that he'll bounce back. He didn't forget how to play quarterback, he just played a poor game. Like the title of the thread reads, "In Arnaud We Trust".

    In Arnaud We Trust.

This is what they make rep for. Your post added nothing to the conversation.:jimlad: That being said, I agree with the original poster. We all need to put this game behind us. I am confident in Arnaud's abilities and I think he bounces back and has a big game against Kent State.

    High School Football

I'm wondering about if one school will remain in the CIML or if they will have to move down to 3A or some other classification?

    High School Football

Does anyone know how the Ankeny sports will be split next year with the addition of a new high school in that city?

Is throwing a perfect game or getting a quadruple double more impressive?

On a similar note, Jamaal Tinsley is the shortest player to ever record a Five-by-Five. Five-by-five is defined as an individual performance in which a player accumulates at least five in all five statistical categories (points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks) in a single game. I got...

Been too long since the last beer thread

That is freakin' crazy that you can get hopslam and DFH 90 on tap. I wish Iowa's laws weren't so absurd. Me, I'm drinking some homebrew and watching the game tonight.

Deace On The Mark Regardng Bowl Games

So since the current system doesn't solve anything we should go back to the former system that solved just as little? I say we scrap it and go to 8,12, or even 16 team playoff.

    Dear fellow procrastinators,

Go old school on him. You: "Guess What?" Him: "what?" You: "chicken butt!" You wouldn't believe how degrading it can be to get owned by an elementary school joke.

    Boulevard Single Wide IPA...

Millstream's Iowa Pale Ale is solid, but I agree with you about their Amber. Big Sky IPA has been one of my favorites for some time.
