Numerous publications have Wichita State as a preseason top ten team for next year in recent prognostications:

What does the NCAA say about schools (i.e. Cal and LSU) contacting a player who has not been released from his NLI? Wouldn't such contact be considered tampering?
Take the full 30 days allowed before deciding whether to grant the release. Use that time to determine whether there was anything shady going on with another school. If it turns out the answer is no, give him the full release. If he or someone in his circle was found to be doing anything...
If this is because he was leery of the competition for playing time, it is a good thing he is doing this now for all involved. In the long term, we will be better off with players that are not afraid of having to earn their time on the court.
No inside info, but it seems clear that he felt he didn't have much chance for playing time this coming season. He apparently looked at the signings of Brase and Beverly as threats to his potential minutes.
A little off track I know, but that is a very interesting group of names. UNLV's announcers have a real challenge on their hands. At least they threw in a Smith and a McCoy to make things a bit easier.
Don't believe the 60% 3 pt shooting stat. This was discussed in a thread a few weeks back and it appears that he actually somewhere in the range of 35% to 45% from 3. HS stat keeping and reporting (especially at his school apparently) is not very accurate.
The OP started a thread that was actually complementary to Eastern Iowa CC and in less than 20 posts the Squawk dbags have turned it into a slam on attendance at Cyclone home FB games.
Someone needs to remind these jr high EICC fans that this is CYCLONEfanatic.
I enjoyed one of the last comments from their big donor (CTruU??) complaining about the lack of class from the ISU fans and then immediately proceeds to tell them to "Go F--- Themselves!"
