    Big Ten tourney

    Probably the same reason the 3/6 in the Big 12 was played in prime time while the 4/5 was the early game. The MVC was also the same way, UNI played Illinois St as the 3/6 matchup in the last game of the day as well. Almost every conference tournament is set up the same way with start times.

    True, but they also have this as a schedule as well: #1 Penn St #2 Oklahoma St #3 Minnesota #5 Ohio St #6 Illinois #11 Michigan #17 Nebraska #19 Virginia They only scheduled Hofstra and Bucknell because it was a special event in New York City at Madison Square Garden.

    This isn't about what ISU has done in the past, it is about Iowa and this year. The point is damn near 50% of Iowa's conference schedule is still against top 25 teams so to call it lame is just being either stupid or ignorant. And I will go with both when it comes to you. Also I'm not sure...

    Why bring up VT, it might turn out to be a bad loss, but Iowa has ample opportunities to make up for that in the conference. You're crazy if you don't think Iowa will have a tougher SOS by the end of the year compared to ISU.

    I agree they will make the NCAA next year. I still feel they have a decent chance this year as well. If they get to 10 conference wins that would put them in with how tough the Big Ten is this year. If you take a look at the remaining schedule 10 wins isn't that impossible for this team. Home...

    While they do play 4 of those teams once it is still 8 out of 18 games they will probably play against top 20 teams. It isn't quite as loaded with bad teams like a Big 12 schedule.

    Yep, tickets aren't selling well for a game against Coppin St and when the students are gone. If this would have been for a Big Ten game then you would have had a valid point, but attendance is higher this year than it has been in the past 5.

    Bullock I have no idea, but I would be shocked if Weisman would ever leave the program.

    Probably not anymore then he got this year. Weisman and Bullock were only sophomores last year so he would be looking to sit behind those 2 until his senior year.

    Next year? Hell I think this is going to be a good one for years to come and it is about damn time Iowa and ISU get back to this level.

    This I agree with. I have no problem with Fran giving him a scholarship, very little risk that could turn into a huge reward .

    Do you think the reason could be because of a major knee injury that is taking him about 2 years to recover from would have anything to with that?
