    Suckeyes at Indiana

If they win out until the last game at Michigan to finish 15-3 in the Big Ten and then win the Big Ten Tournament and finish 27-6 overall they will be a 1 seed. Even if they lose in the BTT final they will be no worse than a 2. Now drop any games between now and Michigan and all bets are off...

    Iowa Reruiting class

Juan Harris will be a 4 before all is said and done. Not that it means anything. As others have said this years class was basically done before the season even started. Iowa should reap the benefits for next years class from this past season.

    Iowa Reruiting class

The 6 losses to FCS is embarrassing, however it is still almost an .800 winning %. Just like KF against MAC schools is an .800 winning %, I would say that type of winning % is pretty consistent.

Jerry Palm and Joe Lunardi #3 seed

The NCAA RPI has Purdue at 25. http://www.ncaa.com/rankings/basketball-men/d1/ncaa-mens-basketball-rpi

Jerry Palm and Joe Lunardi #3 seed

Then multiply that by 2 and they have 4 as well. Purdue is now 25. Does it really matter if it's 4 different teams at home or if it is the same two teams but beating them at home and on the road?

Way to early prediction for this years football team.

. Lol. Yeah ISU is on the same level as Stanford. I'm sure Mike Warren will give McCaffrey a run for the Heisman this year.

    Iowa at Maryland

Did you read the article? These quotes don't sound like excuses. There was complaining about the ball, but I don’t think it had anything to do with the ball,” Iowa guard Peter Jok said, via the Des Moines Register. “A ball’s a ball.” It’s a little different feel,” Gesell said. “At the same...

Seemingly never ending Iowa MBB thread (still going.....)

Re: Iowa MBB now a projected #1 seed You can but what is the point? That game was an exhibition and doesn't have anything to do with the season. That game matters about as much as the game ISU lost in August in Spain.

Seemingly never ending Iowa MBB thread (still going.....)

Re: Iowa MBB now a projected #1 seed No he isn't, he is pointing out ISU only beat a YMCA team by 14 at Hilton and not even on the road and weren't punished by the polls.

MSU loses yet again this time to the Huskers.

Yeah because there is a huge difference between having the #7 SOS compared to the #12 SOS. 8 of Iowa's 17 games have been against top 50 teams. Maybe the football team didn't play anyone but the basketball team has. http://realtimerpi.com/college_Men_basketball_rpi.html

    Iowa/MSU

You seem a little upset that other then one night in December Iowa is having a better season so far against a tougher schedule. One loss in basketball isn't the end all be all like football.

    Iowa/MSU

Ok, 36% of their shots this year are 3's, of that 33% of their points scored are from 3's. I wouldn't say they live or die by the 3. They have taken 1006 shots, 358 of those have been 3's. They have scored 1297 points and 432 of those by 3's. Iowa can beat you without living by the 3.

College Football Playoff Rankings (Nov. 17)

Maybe but you are the one bringing up last year, not me. I'm the one saying last years results have no bearing on how the committee is ranking teams so let last years results go. It is simple for Iowa. Win out and they are in regardless of last year so why bring up last year?

College Football Playoff Rankings (Nov. 17)

So is Clemson so OU shouldn't be 7th, correct? Last year results have nothing to do with this year. Hell Iowa beat Tenn in the 1982 Peach Bowl should we bring that up?

College Football Playoff Rankings (Nov. 17)

Your point would be valid if only Iowa was the same team. Clemson beat OU in the Russell Athletic Bowl last year 40-6 so OU shouldn't be #7.

When to cheer for the Hawkeyes?

That could happen but he was saying he would cheer for Iowa to win the championship game to knock the Big Ten out of the playoffs and cost them a lot of money. I'm saying it wouldn't because regardless if Iowa plays Michigan, Ohio St or Michigan St, 2 teams are getting into the New Year's Six...

When to cheer for the Hawkeyes?

Not really because whoever Iowa would beat in the championship game will still make a New Year's Six Bowl along with Iowa in the Rose. The New Year Six bowls pay the same amount as the playoff semi-final bowls. The only lost money would be not having a chance at the additional money that is paid...

College Football Playoff Rankings (Nov. 10)

This will change so much by the end of the year. Here is how the top 4 spots will be decided in the next 4 weeks and these aren't seeds just the teams I see making it: If Big 12 has undefeated champ they are in: 1) Clemson 2) Bama/Fla winner 3) OSU/Iowa 4) OK St/Baylor If Big 12 has one loss...

Dear America - Iowa Doesn't Care What You Think

Probably because he has better players around him. Yes I believe Michigan is better then Iowa but that also doesn't mean Iowa couldn't beat them if they played either.
