    That's true, but I don't think anyone expects that to continue. If RichRod doesn't get them turned around this year, he'll be gone. I think a better bet would be that Michigan is back "up" in five years time as opposed to still down.

    Didn't Cupito have Lawrence Maroney and Marion Barber lining up behind him? If he did, that might explain the run/pass disparity.

    It took Iowa wins in Happy Valley, Madison, Ames, and East Lansing to get to the Orange Bowl. Don't forget that either.

    The response wasn't about Iowa's offense. Minnesota had a good game plan that day, and for whatever reason, Iowa didn't or couldn't adjust. Good on the goofs. That being said, their offense - the same one that shredded ISU one month later - gained less than 200.

    17 or 18th, depending on the poll, and they started the season at 21, and the response to that wasn't referring to what Iowa fans were predicting before the season started. It's as if you don't understand what you were trying to say.

    One thing that might help alleviate that problem - and you may all ready do this - is letting your steaks sit out and warm up a bit before you throw them on. That way the center will warm up (at least ideally) to the temp of the outside, and you'll get a more even cook. About 1/2 an hour or so...

    This is also what I've had the best success with. I also let the heat sit at around 500 degrees for 10 minutes or so, and then clean the grate really well. I've found that too much oil can cause a flare up, but those are easy enough to extinguish.

    Pretty spot on. It's hard for me to see an ISU fan say "I've been to Kinnick for games other than ISU and the atmophere isn't nearly as good." You also have no rooting interest - no dog in the fight, so it makes sense that in your mind, the atmosphere wouldn't be that great.

    I don't remember Michigan simply dropping the ball with no one around them, but I do remember that happening on at least three of the eight Nebraska turnovers.

    Maybe, maybe not. There is a clause in the contract that says if either conference looks to expand conference scheduling - and it looks like that will happen in the Big 12 starting next year - that the schools are contracually obligated to resist that attempt.
