    Maybe I just think that way because Bates has been more vocal than Arnaud about playing QB. I agree, though -- hopefully they both stick around as, from what I've seen, they seem to be good people as well as athletes.

    Kenny said that Joel told him not to break the story because "I(Joel) won't be able to save you(Kenny)." They fully expected the story to be covered up and go away. Then once it went away, they presumably expected a lawsuit or ridicule at the very least.

    Kenny certainly made it sound like this type of coverup stuff is fairly standard in Ia City. "If I know the University of Iowa like I think I do..." Not only that, but if the IPC hadn't broken the story, it would have never seen the light of day even though M&M, Witosky, etc all knew.
