    Iowa is already in so they don't have to. Plus, Iowa's fanatical fan follow does make them desirable. It's how they got in a BCS football game last year and that meant millions to the Big 10.

    I would guess most HS kids in Iowa have little idea who Fred Hoiberg is. They were barely born when he played at ISU and he had a rather non-descript, journeyman career in the NBA. His name will still carry some weight but not nearly to the level the OP suggests.

    There is "no question"? How do you figure? FH was a star at ISU before most recruits were born and then had a journeyman-like NBA career. I would guess recruits would have almost no idea who Fred Hoiberg is.

    Read my post a little closer. Did I not say selling alcohol was lucrative? Again, cover charges are damn near pure profit. The marginal costs of selling alcohol are higher. That's all I stated in my post.
