    I will say, after going back and looking at conference RPI over the past few years, the conference is better than I expected. And better than the Big 10 each year!

    McDermott was the anti-Prohm. His teams at ISU seemed to get worse as the season wore on. And remember, this isn't your father's Big East. The conference is a shell of its former self.

    This is an oversimplification, but it basically means, given the location of Nebraska, it is relatively more difficult to have either sustained or occasional success there than it is in places that have more "favorable" locations - with greater population densities or warmer climate, for example.

    Agree with this. I think psychologically it would be hard to write a check that large, which would cause some people - but maybe not you - to not donate at all in the end.
