Muted excitement?
It seems like off of CF the buzz around football starting is quite muted compared to previous years. The ticket exchange on here is full of tickets (seems like more than normal) and there has to be at least 20,000 on ticketmaster. Besides the gambling stuff, which I doubt affects hardcore fans... -

From where we sit the speakers are booming, the crowd is into it, everyone is hyped up. Then BOOM - speakers turn off and the band plays the fight song. It's the most engery-deflating thing in Cyclone sports. -

I was surpsied to find plenty of single game tickets for Iowa available when I went to my account this morning. Usually they are sold out by the time my donation level gets access to single game tickets. So... if you're interested better snatch them up. -
Housing market
Look at the map I provided above and tell me which of the new houses I should buy that isn't over a million+ or 45 minutes from my job. If a new house was 5 miles from work and slightly more expensive, sure, makes sense. But the new houses 5 miles from my work are all tear-downs over $2,000,000...
