    NFL: ***2023 San Francisco 49ers***

North Dakota had Wentz who was NDSU. Also Trey Lance (previously 49ers - now Cowboys in trade). But a lot of them kind of became 49ers fans. Not sure if they still are? Since Lance kind of busted and eventually got traded to the Cowboys. I definitely get it here like the graphic states. *...

    49ers - Brock Purdy - Still and Always #1

Yes he is very injury prone. Made of glass. Also a backup. So not too bad. But it does show to be careful with your guys is prudent and wise if you have everything wrapped up already. Like the #1 seed. They can't improve what they already have.

https://www.49erswebzone.com/articles/176593-49ers-verrett-undergo-season-ending-surgery/ Why you want to REST people and stop worrying about "rust." Because even in practice they can get hurt. Certainly a game. He's a backup and not that important. But still it just goes to show you.

CMC should probably be the MVP. He's had a better year than Lamar. Purdy's turnovers are concentrated. Take out the Ravens for example and all season long he's been almost phenomenal. The one big turnover game skewed his stats. Which are still really great. But would have been off the charts.

    49ers - Brock Purdy - Still and Always #1

I think the public generally likes him and thinks he is good. There are loud mouth nay sayers. Like Nick WRONG (sometimes mistakenly called Wright). Also Grant Cohn. Sometimes Shannon Sharpe although he is on and off with that. Lately he's been coming around to Brock with the exception of...

    49ers - Brock Purdy - Still and Always #1

You can get him hurt without Trent Williams and sometimes he does. I believe the Vikings game where he got the concussion was without TW. But I don't think the play where he got it was because of that. He did a QB sneak and went into the line and got banged in the head. Their version of the...

Brock_STAR led all players in Pro Bowl voting. That's pretty amazing. He's come a long way.

Brock Purdy won't play the last game per Kyle Shanahan. It's the right move too. You can't risk him getting hurt. I agree with it 100%. Nothing to be gained here. Keep your key guys healthy.

You are talking about ONE GAME. The whole season body of work is just not that good for Lamar. His numbers are NOT MVP level. They are just not. Look it up if you don't believe me. He doesn't have that many touchdowns. They might try to give it to him. But he doesn't deserve it.

    49ers - Brock Purdy - Still and Always #1

The whole body of work probably says Purdy or CMC had the best seasons. Maybe even CMC. Lamar just doesn't really have MVP numbers. Yes he's winning because of his defense like some suggested. He may get it. Because they are desperate to keep it away from Purdy. Lots of spectacular games...

    49ers - Brock Purdy - Still and Always #1

He's been great. It's also a product of a big fan base and big state. Winning tradition has brought over many fans even from other states. Which is fine and great. Dallas has the same thing with America's team. But probably there are some numbers advantages built in with that.

    49ers - Brock Purdy - Still and Always #1

They will start to look at him differently if he does that. Which is why this years ending is so important. The nay sayers will be less. The criticism and hate will lessen. He will be taken more seriously as an MVP candidate and won't have to be perfect in every game. Like the unrealistic...

    49ers - Brock Purdy - Still and Always #1

All true and very unfair. But for this year that's how it's going to be. He had to be perfect this year to get it. They were looking for every excuse in the book to not give it to him. Should he win a Super Bowl and a Super Bowl MVP people will look at him a little different next year...

    49ers - Brock Purdy - Still and Always #1

They let the past RT Mike McGlinchey go to Denver in free agency. Because it was a huge contract they didn't want to match. He plays with Russell Wilson now. Never was a great pass blocker. But OK. He was a bulldozer in the run blocking game though. You are right he was from Notre Dame and...

    49ers - Brock Purdy - Still and Always #1

I've been saying for years they need to draft offensive line early and get some free agents. But they always draft defensive line, pass rushers, and RB's. They mostly neglect the offensive line. They are obsessed with defensive line and it is good when healthy. But I would like to see some...

    49ers - Brock Purdy - Still and Always #1

They have to play some. Just to get past the game. 53 man roster and 48 active on game day. You have no choice to play some. But they will rest injured guys and pull as many starters as they can as soon as they can. I could live with just run almost every play, run clock, punt, play defense...

    49ers - Brock Purdy - Still and Always #1

Yes you should be. It's the worst side of the offensive line. That's where the problems come from. LT - Trent Williams - 6'5" 320 lbs. The best LT in the game and the best offensive linemen for the 49ers. LG - Aaron Banks - 6'5" 6'5" 325 lbs. Notre Dame 2nd round pick. 2nd best offensive...

Just don't turn it over so much. We spotted them 5 turnovers. We moved the ball all over on them. Both running and passing. The yards were put up. More ball security and we can beat them.
