    Why shouldn't the bowls force the schools to buy the tickets? It guarantees sales for around 30,000 tickets (15k per school) and the schools have to do that to accept the bowl bid.     Except they announced the change before the season even started. I understand what you are saying, and agree that most casual NFL fans won't realize the trophies were changed until tomorrow. However, I doubt many people immediately think about the B12Ten upon seeing the NFL trophies.

    LVSC has 2.5 as the opening line and the fact that it has been beaten down to 4.5 isn't a good sign as it usually means a "sharp" has wagered a lot on OSU to cover the 2.5.

    I believe this is the first year it is free throws. I saw a couple people hit 3 or 4 from the various spots, but it was rare. I would think it would be easier to make 5 free throws so I am surprised they made the change.
