    You are right that people should start to temper their expectations for the tourney but I disagree and think that if we went 10-6 in the BigXII this year we would be a "lock". 8-8 in the BigXII puts us on the bubble. With that said, I'd be VERY surprised with anything better than 6-10...

    You could look at your league rules. There would be no penalty in my yahoo league, but the remaining members wouldn't be happy if anyone pulled a move like that.

    You might be right that it is most likely to happen with Track, but I have heard of some recent publicized cases with Baseball/Football (Russell Wilson, NC States QB to name 1) and Basketball/Football (Charlie Ward for Florida State in the mid-90s)

    8 out of 12 of our opponents are in the pre-season top 50 but 4 out of those 8 will be at home. I am surprised that UCONN is ranked that much higher than Iowa. Many on this board will probably think that UCONN on the road will be *easier* than Iowa at the Jack. I still expect a 4 or 5 win...
