    Just what is Real Sushi?

I have not been to Zen or Wok in Motion, but my favorite sushi joint is Taki. I love their Super Tuna, Kelburn & Firecrackers (spicy tuna). As far as the flown in fresh daily at Waterfront, several years ago I had a business associate in town from Boston for the week. He was hungry for some...

Which Athletes are in your classes?

Back in the mid-80's, I had Tom Schaffer (ISU Basketball) in my cost accounting class and got assignments for him when he was gone with the team to ball games. However, I think my biggest highlight was having the same opportunity with Jeff Hornacek in an English class. He would always call...

    General thoughts on Baylor

It seems that after their trials and tribulations from a few years ago & the hiring of Scott Drew, it seems they have gradually gotten better. They may not be there yet, but they will definitely be a team to watch in the future.

    Senior Bowls

What about the Hula Bowl or Senior Bowl? Those two and the Shrine Bowl are the only Senior related bowls out there, specifically to give the seniors one more chance to shine. I would have expected Meyer, Blythe, Bowen, Banks, Rubin as possible invites to one of the three bowl games.

What do you have? Mediacom, Directv, Dish, other?

When we built our home in the country, our only choice for expanded tv was Dish Network. Therefore, I can't comment on Mediacom or Direct TV, but we are extremely happy with Dish & yes we do have the NFL channel.

    Organ Donor Question

Tigershoop, What a great question about organ donation and I have heard it many times. A little over 6 years ago our family was confronted with a question just like this. My youngest sister (then 33) was comatose and stable laying in Iowa City at the U. One thing you don't want to put on...

    Sad day...pet advice needed...

ISU Fan - I'm sorry to hear about your ailing cat. As a husband of an ISU Vet grad (1989) these times seem to be the most difficult. It is always a tough decision, but I believe you know what is best. It's always tough weighing your options, but the additional pain & suffering she will...

    The time has come...

As far as DVD on HD you will need something more than the old progressive scan. If you have Playstation 3, I highly recommend you hook it up to the new, big HDTV. The PS3 has the Blue Ray technology and the movies are as true to life as the actual HD. We just bought Superman Returns in Blue...

So, if you can recruit the best kids in the country, but you can't coach them, what does it matter. It looks like Harbaugh can coach & recruit! Sounds good to me. :wink0st:
