    Fantastic article - someone should show this to every recruit to flaunt his NBA ties and the fact we have an NBA offense (or at least parts). To me this article says that Fred Hoiberg has the connections to give you your best chance at the NBA......

    Expectations for next year

    I think that if Royce comes back we could pretty easily be a favorite to win the conference and make a lot of noise in the tournament. As long as everybody comes back and no one gets in trouble we will have a deep and talented roster. We potentially will be able to go big against some teams...

    Here is my take for what it is worth. Royce will have the option of going pro, taking his paycheck and being able to support his family. He more than likely will be a mid 1st rounder if everything goes well or potentially fall a little if teams worry about his anxiety or lack of shooting too...

    If he struggled with the playbook at ISU he probably would really struggle as a scout team guy learning opposing team plays weekly, but I hope it works for him. He does have some unique skills though, so maybe he could return kicks or help on special teams if nothing else.

    While I agree that getting suspended for $200 is pretty weak, I would say that if he received $200 during the tournament he probably has received more in the past and just didn't get caught. Just sayin....

    I would agree that he may have made a mistake coming to ISU - Morgan was not really a great coach to develop under. Plus his offense does not get anyone ready for the NBA... It has nothing to do with the fans and atmosphere - if Eustachy would have stayed he could have been a much better player.

    No one is really taking into account the wildcard of the conference tournament results. The more teams that get in because they won a conference tournament (that have at large teams in their conference) the less open spots there will be.     Lot's of things that need to get better, but one of the biggest positives is how much better our depth is than it has been in several years. Past teams would not have been able to keep things up with so many foul troubles and would have had to back off defensively.
