Camp Report: The running backs
I noticed in the "inside running" highlights on cyclones.com that Woody was lined up in another position... I'm guessing its that "H-back" position - not sure. In one of the series he and SJ were both in at the same time. If they can contribute, I'm sure Herman will get them on the field. -

Whats frustrating is that it doesn't appear we were even very much of a consideration for these kids....even with all of Iowa's off the field problems, they are still able to out recruit us. Something I caught in the interview was that he said when he was the OC for Texas State, his team averaged over 200 ypg rushing...I think that would be encouraging to ARob, Bo, and the rest of the running backs...That Bobcat team was the same team that lost in OT to UNI in the 2nd or 3rd round... -

Has there been any comments from the asst. coaches? Were they caught off guard like the players? I'm sure he spoke to the ones he wants to take with him... but what happens to the coaches he doesn't want? As an assistant I'm sure it'd be a career derailer if Chizik asks you come with him and... -
