    You act surprised. Why would a team schedule them? Nothing to gain at all. Can schedule a FBS team of equal Caliber without the fallout of a loss to a FCS team.

    Just speculation, but I bet TJ was not initially wanting to commit to staying after his contract. He is getting paid $200k+ this year regardless. Not out anything by playing his hand. He'll get it if he stays & if Prohm doesn't like the lack of long term commitment, fire him & he still gets it...

    The facts are that we have a small athletic budget. The fans & supporters are really the only ones that can change that. We don't have a law school, medical school or oil money. Our Alums probably aren't as affluent as other schools. Cold truth.

    I am too. He'll have some bumps along the way, but I think any up & comer that was hired would too. As long as he is never 5-19 we should be fine.
