Are gas prices going up?
I was just out running errands in Ankeny and noticed that gas at QT was $1.45, but everywhere else had gone up to $1.59. Are prices finally going up again? -

Restaurants Downtown Des Moines
Azalea is great. It's also where Hillary Clinton ate while in town. Prices are ok too. I think my meal was around 15. Django is also a really nice place. I've only been there for lunch though, but I'd definitely go back. It's real close to Racoon River. Another place you could impress... -

New logo & uniforms? Hope not!!

Dogs in bed

K-State Ticket Promotion
I was just browsing the K-State football site for Iowa state tickets and came across this promotion: Family Day Package - 4 tickets $99. Regular ticket price is $55. It gives an 800 to call. Not sure if you can just purchase them online. Might have to give them a call in the morning...:smile: -

DSM Area Contractors?
Can anyone recommend a good contractor in the Des Moines area? We have some damage from the storm a couple Sundays ago (roofing, drywall, siding, etc). Insurance will cover it, but I'm looking for recommendations of company/people that others have used and liked. Thanks!
