    I'd take him back in a heartbeat. Everybody deserves to make one big mistake in their life, and going to PSU is his.

    Would you support bringing Dan Gable back to ISU?

    Bobby Douglas couldn't produce when he was the head coach. Why even think about bringing him back now? Would LOVE to see Gable, though. We made the huge error back in the 70s when Harold Nichols wanted to keep coaching, and we couldn't find a "place" for Gable.

    He very likely did give ISU that chance...from news reports, he and Pollard had been talking about the PSU offer for the past week. I just don't think ISU has the money to counter that kind of an offer.

    Remember, too, that the current President of Penn State is an Iowa State alum - Graham Spanier. He was here in the late 1960s, and certainly saw ISU wrestling at its peak. Not that this has anything to do with Cael's leaving...just an interesting point.

    Let's give Coach McDermott another year. I think he's got the makings for getting this program back on the upswing. With all due respect to Morgan, he was not a head coach. Witness his previous one year as a head coach in California.

    Back to Warner. I think he's in...maybe not first ballot, but definitely in. And I hope he returns to Arizona for next season.

    Forget the beaches. Go to Scottsdale. No hurricane threats. October is one of the best times to be in the desert. There are plenty of great resorts with nice pools. And for sports, you can go to Arizona Fall League baseball games for $6, and see the top major league prospects play...

    Snyder will not succeed this time at K-State. You can't go back! Ask Johnny Majors when he went back to Pitt for the second go-around. Just doesn't work. (Admit that some of this is wishful thinking, too)
