    I wouldn't be surprised one bit if that's the next realignment that you see. It'll exist for a little while anyway...at some point DC-G is going to be ready to party with the big boys, ie Waukee, Johnston, etc.

    The square mileage of the Ames district is actually pretty small compared to Ankeny, Waukee, etc. The district shrinks even more when you add in the fact that a bunch of land within the boundary belongs to ISU and isn't available for development.

    Agreed...getting an NY6 bid is all on JP working his magic right now. If it were a normal year and fans were allowed picking us would be a no brainer...40,000+ of us would buy tickets. But it's not a normal year and I feel like the NY6 bowl committees (i.e. sponsors) are going to want eyeballs...
