    Unfortunately, the kind of talent we need to compete in our conference is the kind of talent that does not stay in school for 4 years. We need to recruit more guys that will only be around 1 or 2 years...not less. You gotta have the horses, man!!

    So what! I want to play to win...not to keep it to a "close" loss. The fast paced style of play will work just fine once our overall talent is upgraded. McDermott's total misunderstanding of the talent required to compete in a power conference is nearly unfathomable...even now. Good riddance.

    What do you mean by this? My personal opinion is that if we are recruiting guys that need to be redshirted we are recruiting the wrong guys. Just look at the top teams in the power conferences year in and year out and you will see that they are not loaded with guys that have been redshirted...
