    I grew up in the Decorah area - live in Fort Collins now and I have a retired neighbor who grew up in Maquoketa and went to Luther in the 70's. They just bought a vacation house in Decorah because he missed the area.

    I have tire liners on one set - tubed gravel tires. No issues but I also have sealant in the tubes. My bike shop was the one that suggested sealant in the tube over the liners but I had them from a previous setup that I switched over to the current bike.

    I don't think you will regret it - I threw them on my wife's road bike 10 years ago after getting multiple flats with the stock spesh tires. no issues other than she is only an occasional rider now....

    This - any bike I have that's not setup tubeless, I've just pulled the valve and added sealant to help with the goat heads etc.
